There is a red light near the top of the wall in the front of the store and another one just like it in the stockroom.
Employees are trained to notice when these lights blink, for it means cooler or freezer doors have broken or been left open. A protected environment has been compromised. We need to take action to avoid spoilage in the coolers, meltdown in the freezers.
I now see flashing red lights everywhere, and they’re being ignored, even flouted.

Also yesterday, Jerry Falwell Jr. invited students to return to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, despite medical authorities’ warnings about large gatherings.
And then there was our president, calling for an end to the lockdown by Easter. What a wonderful optic – America’s economy rising from the dead on Easter Sunday!
