A bit alarmed by my walkthrough. Our toilet paper stash has dwindled to a couple of stacks of single rolls. At other stops on my route, no wipes, no yeast.
You can always tell how busy the day has been by the number of reshop baskets at the front of the store. These are the carts filled with items discarded by shoppers in the aisles or at the registers. Three baskets overflow with flowers, produce, canned goods, and boxed goods.
Situation improves as the night wears on. Reshop items that can be salvaged are returned to shelves. Trucks bring more TP and even a case of wipes, which will surely be gone within an hour of opening.
I had planned to buy a pork tenderloin for a luscious-sounding recipe, but the abundance of trotters and tails slaughters my appetite. Is it my imagination or are we filling gaps in the meat case with pig extremities?
